DEREK WALTERS

Secrets of Chinese Astrology

Saturday 28th October 2006, 10am to 5pm

Most people are familiar with the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac. What is less well-known is that the animal names apply not only to the years in which people are born, but to the months, days and times as well. These “Four Pillars” represent four of the “Eight Characters”, or bazi, which are the foundations of a Chinese horoscope.

In this one-day workshop, Derek Walters will explain how to reckon the four animal signs for a person’s horoscope and how they reveal compatibilities and conflicts. Then he will demonstrate not only how they can reveal a person’s special qualities but also can indicate when and where problems may arise, and how such problems may be rectified or avoided altogether.

Derek Walters is a leading international authority on Chinese Astrology and tours the world lecturing on both this and Feng Shui. His book, “The Complete Guide to Chinese Astrology”, is widely acknowledged to be the definitive guide on the subject for serious students. Derek’s expertise is recognised even within China, where he has been invited to lecture several times of the subject of Chinese Astrology. This workshop for the SAA promises to be a rare and fascinating treat for us.
