Health and Astrological Temperament

In this workshop you will learn a traditional method of assessing the temperament of a person from the natal chart with a view to advising them on the maintenance of health. Recommendations on diet and lifestyle determined from the horoscope and the identification of temperament are from Galenic medicine and were employed by physicians for seventeen hundred years. On the way, you will be introduced to a horoscope analysis traditionally used by astrologers to evaluate the strengths and weakness of planets in the horoscope.

Graeme Tobyn is a senior lecturer in Herbal Medicine at the University of Central Lancashire and a member of the Company of Astrologers, London. He has lectured internationally on astrological medicine and is the author of Culpeper's Medicine (Element 1997). He is preparing a book on the history of herbal medicines for publication later this year.
