| What's New at the SAA - July 2004 |
|---|
After last month's events with Frank Clifford and John Frawley, we are now on our summer break at the SAA, so no meetings this month. John is no stranger to the SAA and is always warmly welcomed. This was Frank’s first visit to Edinburgh and he was very well received, and we hope he will return again. However, there is no rest for the wicked and Robert has been beavering away getting the CD’s ready for sale, so if you missed the event so you don’t need to miss out on the talks.
We are also busy preparing our Autumn/Winter programme. If you would like to receive a copy of it by email, let us know and we will add you to our list. We are delighted to have managed to slot in an extra event on Wednesday 4th August with Nick Campion. Nick will be in Edinburgh for the festival with his wife Wendy, who has her own show at The Gilded Balloon, called “I Put A Spell on You”. Full details can be found at www.gildedballoon.co.uk. Wendy will also be giving a dance workshop at Dance Base, so if dancing is your thing, call 0131 225 5525 for full details. Nick meanwhile, will be giving us the results of his Thesis on “Do You Believe In Astrology?” A subject very close to our hearts at the SAA! It’s sure to be a very interesting evening and we very much look forward to welcoming him. Nick has done so much work promoting astrology in the UK and around the world. To find out more about his work, visit www.nickcampion.com.
We are very pleased to confirm that our conference in September with Noel Tyl can go ahead, and we look forward to seeing some familiar faces from last year - and a few new ones too. There are still places available if you would like to join us. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend.
We look forward to seeing you all back at the SAA soon.
