In addition to consulting work, Anna is author of the weekly Scotsman Magazine's horoscopes while Steve's alias of Stephen Sol has recently been gracing the pages of the Sunday Herald. Oct 07 Paul Wright The Autumnal Signs - Libra and Scorpio We welcome back Paul Wright to give us a talk with a seasonal flavor. Paul has been studying and practicing astrologer for more than thirty years and is author of several books on astrology including The Literary Zodiac and most recently his invaluable book on Scottish natal data, A Multitude of Lives.

Oct 21 Sarah Stone & Ali Black The Dark Side Be afraid - be very afraid! As Halloween is almost upon us we offer you an updated version of Barbara Watters classic book "The Astrologer Looks at Murder" - with a grisly Scottish twist. Sarah Stone is our current Chair and a 4th Year student of the Scottish School of Astrology. With her natal Mars in Capricorn currently suffering from a Pluto transit Sarah's normally bright and breezy thoughts have been turning to the nature of evil. Special guest Ali Black will contribute to this talk with her reflections on a local murder. Ali is currently studying for her MA in Astrology and Cultural Astronomy.

Nov 18 Gary Kidgel Astrology From Within The esoteric approach to astrology is firmly rooted in the great mystery teachings. It seeks to unite the individual with their inherent divinity as a means of expressing this in their daily life. This is achieved through a comprehensive language of symbols related to, and derived from, the astrological archetypes. Gary is a practising astrologer based in Dundee and he will be sharing this personal approach to astrology with us
Dec 02 Stephen Glendenning Medieval Astrological Magic: Stephen Glendenning Do you need some magic in your life? Look no further! Our newest member steps up to give us his insights on working with astrological magic. Stephen will be discussing the ideas of medieval astrologers such as John Dee, Cornelius Agrippa and Marsilio Ficino in relation to astrological magic texts such as the Picatrix. He will outline magical techniques, such as Talisman making, based on the 28 lunar mansions and planetary hour rulers. The evening will focus on astrological magic both historically and as an experience in the here and now.

Exploring the chart of Angelina Jolie with partner Brad Pitt, his ex Jennifer Aniston, and her family may shed some light on this fascinating area of astrology. We offer a warm welcome to Carole Bone who is librarian of our sister group Aquarius Rising. Carole has studied astrology with Anne Whitaker and holds a certificate from the Faculty of Astrological Studies.
Feb 11 Annual General Meeting The last item on our programme but in some ways the most important…. The essential business and organisational decisions for the year are made at AGM. We ask all members who support the work of the Association to attend. There will be wine and nibbles following the meeting.
